The Clock Tower

Attached to the main house at Limavady Estate, The Clock Tower is available for weekly rentals on a self-catering basis.

The old gardens at the estate extended to nearly 70 acres at the end of the 19th century. There were long meandering walks through Beech woods and along the Castle Burn; a Rhododendron Glen filled with rare plants collected in China, Nepal and Bhutan; a formal Italian Garden dominated by a sandstone balustrade reminiscent of the Villa d'Este; an English Garden planted in the manner of Gertrude Jekyll; a conifer arboretum; a fabulous 4 acre walled kitchen garden and a cricket pitch in front of the North facade of the house.

The estate is situated a short distance from the historic City of Derry, near the old market town of Limavady. This magical 1000 acre estate lies in the shadow of the great cliffs of Binevenagh Mountain and the Mussenden Temple, both landmarks on the dramatic North Atlantic coastline.

For visitors who are flying in by passenger or private jet, the estate is only 8 miles from 'City of Derry Airport'. A limousine or helicopter service is on hand to transfer guests from City of Derry, Belfast International or Dublin Airports - directly to the Estate.

The estate has its own private cricket ground, while fishing and riding can also be arranged, either on the estate or nearby. Access to local world class golf courses, including Royal Portrush, as well as wonderful sandy beaches are within easy driving distance. It would be difficult to find a more perfect place to enjoy a special birthday weekend or to entertain VIP business clients.

The Clock Tower is fully equipped and is let on a self catered basis; however, we can recommend good local cooks.

- Security deposit: £100 per weekend. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
- Arrival time: 3pm onwards.
- Departure time: 12 noon.
- Pets: Please enquire.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
